An amazing sky on the Alta Madre de Dios River in the Peruvian Amazon.
On a train heading to Macchu Pichu, we passed a very small village. I saw her, and ran for my camera. This was the only shot I got. Left me wanting to know more about her.
Though very close to the equator, the high Peruvian Andes are more reminiscent of Alaska than the tropical latitudes where they are.
